The cold winter months have arrived, but Toronto is well-equipped with a festival that offers something for everyone. Toronto WinterCity festival is a 14-day, city-wide celebration of Toronto’s winter culture. Along with free events, shows, culinary demonstrations, workshops and tastings are a multitude of cultural and family attractions offering special discount-pricing.

Although much of the excitement takes place at Nathan Phillips Square and Yonge-Dundas Square, the festival expands to all corners of the city with special highlights that include the city’s famous restaurant promotion Winterlicious and the Toronto Showcase which spotlights special activities and events taking place at various attractions throughout the GTA.

So forget the weather, you’ll be too busy enjoying our cool city.

Special Events & Highlights:

Opening Celebration
Nathan Phillips Square, Friday January 30, 7 p.m.
Get outside to launch the city’s newest winter tradition, featuring trampoline artists and fire performers from Zero Gravity Circus, the sounds of beating drums from France’s Commandos Percu, and fireworks. This incredible night will set the stage for 14-days of big-city excitement.

Wild On Winter Series
Six fantastic outdoor shows featuring electrifying musical fireworks and magical airborne theatrics suspended at dizzying heights.
