For 35 years, TCCSA, a non-profit charitable organization, has been serving new immigrants to settle in the GTA area and integrate into the Canadian community.
Funded by the Federal government, we are hiring summer students to assist in the daily operation of the agency for a period of 12 weeks from June 9 to Aug. 31, 2008 in our offices located in Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, Markham & Mississauga.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the organization of programs for new immigrants
- To assist in the organization of youth programs
- To assist in the organization of parenting & children programs
- To assist in the organization of community development programs
- To assist in the organization of interest classes
- To provide clerical support & answer telephone enquiries
Qualifications
- College or University students who will return to school in Sept. 2008
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
Salary:
- $8.75 per hour (35 hours per week with flexible hours)
