据globalnews报道，多伦多警方表示，此案发生在当天中午12点半左右。在Bellamy Road North和Lawrence Avenue East附近，一名男子被刺中胸口后被送往医院，有生命危险。
随后这名来自多伦多的30岁男子Maxim Karyakin在医院伤重不治。
周天时，警方宣布逮捕了一名56岁男子，他被控一级谋杀罪名。
