安省OPP向CityNews证实，周四凌晨，404高速公路发生四辆车相撞事故，造成一人死亡，地点在Stouffville Road以北的高速公路北行车道。事故导致从Stouffville Road到Bloomington Road的北行404高速公路关闭了几个小时，但此后道路重新开放。没有关于碰撞发生原因的消息，调查正在进行中。
