2009年3月31日下午，因不满城管暴力执法，四川南充市数千市民集结城市中心进行抗议，致使最为繁华的五星花园各交通要道交通中断。
据围观市民称，当日下午城管人员在执法中将一名学生打伤。目前，事故原因仍在进一步调查中。
